Doing that going to be unfair to magic classes. And for what I've seen you have only played servers where only thing magic classes (SM/Cler) do is seal/buff.
I'm not saying SM/Cler are supposed to be killer machines but they've got bolt for a reason..

I dont need to check i have common sense... that giving that much bonus stats is just a horrible idea...

I wish you were there when we were balancing the classes, before the Beta-stage started x_x

What I did? Well. Tried to talk common sense into you, since your point of view of how balances should be is pretty stupid. But ofcourse you didn't want to listen so nvm. c:

u want CL/SM tank and bolt if u want to make CL/SM in full con
tank cruz/champ/ss then full con SS/Cruz/Champ should tank SM/CL

I repeat: I NEVER said anything about the bolt. And SS TANKED more than SM in full CON MODE. And I told you, SS aren't supposed to tank more than SMs, and you said: "Yes, they should." After that, you expected to kill me with you on con mode. Of course you wouldn't kill me.
When you realised you couldn't kill me in con mode, you wanted to nerf my def. You were hitting me 100 each shot. Then you said "Just because I can't kill you when I'm in con mode you should bolt me 300." <<< If you call that common sense, I've got no idea.

ALL I was asking for was SM having a fair DEF and SS having more DEF than a SM isn't what I call fair.
If that's changed or not, I've got no idea but I hope so.

In a "balanced" server:

»Champs shouldn't be killable by Cruz/SS alone, that's why you bring a magic class for the bolts/counchs (SMs' Cursed Fire).

»SM should never be able to kill a Cleric, because of the energy shield, magical attacks shouldn't give a lot of damage to it.

Also, con voys/SMs rely a lot on def, you do know that right? They've got CON/DEF in their Uns85 rings, which means they should have more def than melees (With an exception of champs)

SS have the lowest growth of hp and def from con. By no means it tank better and ofc it never supposed to. Full con SS should be happy to tank 1x Slash with decent gems from str champ, thats it. I want realy clear reply from marwack, why physical classes deserve to take at least 42 stat advantage compare to physical classes. I played ToP from beginning. Even with huge disadvantages, like no soul get from chaos chest or crappy stats on eq or corals, con voys were able to become fighter class somehow. Later on when people gemmed up, it started to fall so fast, untill mall upgraded with UGs there and BD gems afterwards. Only best voys were able to be decent fighters here, but they still didnt gave up and own ca at least. Now with private servers era, we can create better balance overall. And dont tell me that creators of ofi knew better. Yes sure cler needed str in unseal and it was so great idea to make chest eq better then unseal eq for voy >.>

As for cler and sm.. Spr sm Did not exist in best guilds. ye all spr they had came from eq. Clers had easier time - they were happy with single stat but in ca it is bit sad. However their bolts did hurt alot till bd hearts were added in shop as well as azreals. Then bolts werent able to hurt much 20k+ hp crusaders >.>

As for balance , i got the only idea for now that probably need to be added. Increase bolt damage in ca for clers, SLIGHTLY!!!!!!!!! if u check, sm do more dmg with bolt in ca, then cler, dont realy think it is so fair.
